Wonderful view, private hot spring, well-maintained grounds, delicious meals, peaceful atmosphere.
Not obvious to find.

Beautiful view from the hotel, and the food was exceptional. The staff was accommodating and friendly, always willing to help with directions and recommendations. We also appreciated the convenience of the location, with major attractions just a short walk away.
The noise level was unbearable. We were kept up all night by other guests talking loudly and slamming doors, and the walls were so thin that we could hear every conversation and noise from neighboring rooms.

We had an amazing stay in a unique and picturesque location surrounded by pine trees, with easy access to the center of the town and the station. The room was beautifully decorated with Japanese atmosphere, and the bathroom was sparkling clean with a great view. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast and dinner were locally sourced and brilliantly done, with 8 courses each of traditional Kyushu recipes.
The tranquility of our experience was slightly ruined by a noisy tour group.

We had a truly luxurious stay at this 4-star hotel nestled in the heart of a charming mountainous area. The location was simply breathtaking, offering marvelous views of the sunrise and sunset right from our doorstep. The hotel itself was like a resort, with adorable cottages scattered throughout the grounds. We especially loved the separate dinner rooms provided for each group of guests, ensuring a personalized dining experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, enhancing our overall comfort and enjoyment. The on-site leisure house, known as the "Chat Room", was a delightful addition, allowing us to relax and unwind with books, music, and tea. We highly recommend this place to our friends.
This venue is not far from town, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area.

Had thanksgiving here, location is great as it is not too far from town. The breakfast and dinner provided are delectable and always made with local ingredients. The private dining rooms are also a plus as you get a different experience for each meal.
The room isn't very clean with dust in touchable areas like the window opener. Beds are split single beds even though we informed them ahead that we were on our honeymoon.
